Solo che stavo riascoltando alcuni vecchi dischi e tra questi ho ripreso in mano questo "Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness" degli SMASHING PUMPKINS (anno 1995). Lo trovo di una bellezza disarmante. Lungo. Infinito a tratti. Cattivo. Brutale. Ma anche soft. Carico di atmosfera sognante. Anche un pò decadente. Trasversale. Insomma se lo trovo in vinile. L'è mio!

Eh eh i cari "vecchi" Smashing Pumpkins hanno sempre un senso, anche dopo anni e anni dalla pubblicazione quel cd resta un piccolo gioiello, anche se a me piaceva anche il ben più decadente "Adore"... ecco, ora che ci penso non l'ascolto da un po'...
Cat! vero! molto vero! sanno sempre creare delle bellissime atmosfere, anche se ultimamente hanno perso un pò di forza, oltre a qualche membro del gruppo. Da riascoltare sempre.
